Abada College, formerly known as Abada Memorial College, traces its beginning to April 26, 1950. It was established by the Mindoro Education Company through civic-minded leaders who believed that Pinamalayan and the surrounding communities deserved access to an institution of higher learning. The school began serving learners through elementary, secondary, and teacher-preparation offerings. Over time, its programs expanded in response to the educational and professional needs of the community. New facilities, student services, and academic pathways strengthened the institution's role in Oriental Mindoro. Today, Abada College continues that legacy through basic education and college programs, values-centered formation, community service, and a more modern digital student experience. Its history is not only a record of years; it is the shared story of students, educators, families, alumni, and partners who have helped the institution grow.
